Code, Labor and Employment § 11–705","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department shall monitor all grants provided under the Maryland EARN Program.\n(b) The Department may require that all recipients of strategic industry partnership grants:\n(1) demonstrate an ability to collaborate successfully; and\n(2) include additional provisions in a grant proposal to ensure accountability.\n(c) The Department may revoke grant funding from a strategic industry partnership, workforce training program, or partnership member if goals consistent with a grant agreement approved by the Department are not met.\n(d) To the extent practicable and consistent with relevant judicial opinions and statutory law, any intellectual property developed as a result of a grant awarded under the Maryland EARN Program shall remain in the public domain.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=11-705","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"63cf0b3ea3b22ed20270bc88fc448cc3d6d997c6e1462342c548a13b4ce6c50f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-11-704","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-11-706"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
