Code, Labor and Employment § 11–905","heading":"","body":"(a) The State of Maryland assents to the federal acts.\n(b) The State Treasurer shall:\n(1) be the custodian of any money received under the federal acts; and\n(2) disburse this money in accordance with the federal acts.\n(c) The Maryland Department of Labor and the State Board of Education, as appropriate, shall:\n(1) cooperate with the appropriate federal agencies in administering the federal acts;\n(2) do anything necessary to secure the benefits of the federal acts;\n(3) facilitate the transfer of funds to the appropriate operational agency; and\n(4) represent this State in all matters relating to the administration of the federal acts.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=11-905","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"36c0738ad398edd47e60ba5a3980634344c82f4ca729da497684f7d79b1be935","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-11-904","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-11-906"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
