Code, Labor and Employment § 3–410","heading":"","body":"In addition to any regulation specifically required by this subtitle, regulations that the Commissioner adopts to carry out this subtitle may include:\n(1) definitions of the terms “administrative capacity”, “executive capacity”, “professional capacity”, and “outside salesman”;\n(2) a scale of wages that is suitable for learners and apprentices but is at least 80% of the minimum wage under this subtitle; and\n(3) a wage for a special case or class of case if the Commissioner finds the wage appropriate to:\n(i) avoid undue hardship;\n(ii) prevent the curtailment of employment opportunity; and\n(iii) safeguard the minimum wage under this subtitle.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=3-410","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"312bce84707aa02f1f8fd6539f2bf1919e08898ff6af3a8b3308a9685cd7948e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-3-408","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-3-413"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
