Code, Labor and Employment § 4–213","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) Within 5 days after the Mediation Service provides the tally of ballots for a consent election, a party to the consent election may object to:\n(i) the conduct of the consent election; or\n(ii) other conduct affecting the result of the consent election.\n(2) A party shall object in a timely manner, even if the number of challenged ballots is not sufficient to affect the result of the consent election.\n(b) An objection under this section shall:\n(1) be in writing; and\n(2) state concisely each reason for the objection.\n(c) Each party who makes an objection shall:\n(1) submit to the Mediation Service:\n(i) 4 copies of the objection; and\n(ii) proof of service under item (2) of this subsection; and\n(2) serve immediately a copy of the objection on each other party.\n(d) The Mediation Service shall investigate each objection submitted in accordance with this section.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=4-213","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"6e37c2bb1de7318628a260a6e23b72069b9ce446075773ab3224291125a96936","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-4-212","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-4-214"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
