Code, Labor and Employment § 5–202","heading":"","body":"(a) The Commissioner may delegate to the assistant commissioner for occupational safety and health any duty or function of the Commissioner under this title.\n(b) (1) The Commissioner may enter into a written agreement with a public body to delegate any power of inspection under this title.\n(2) An agreement under this subsection shall:\n(i) specify the procedure to be used in an inspection under the agreement;\n(ii) enable the Commissioner to monitor an inspection power under the agreement; and\n(iii) enable the Commissioner to revoke the agreement at any time.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=5-202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"2b20f0e96a32cb60d021839874e626b1f73c7f3077c102ae5de64df7e8842d82","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-5-201","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-5-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
