Code, Labor and Employment § 8–110","heading":"","body":"(a) On request and for purposes consistent with Chapter 65 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2021, the Department shall provide to the chief elected official of a county demographic data and the addresses, occupations, and last known employers of unemployment insurance recipients who live in the county of the chief elected official.\n(b) A chief elected official of a county may:\n(1) share the information provided to the chief elected official under subsection (a) of this section with the governing body of the county; and\n(2) request information under subsection (a) of this section on behalf of a political subdivision within the county and provide the information to the political subdivision.\n(c) The Secretary may adopt regulations to carry out this section, including regulations that:\n(1) establish the circumstances under which the names of unemployment insurance recipients may be included in the information provided under subsection (a) of this section; and\n(2) are necessary to protect the personally identifiable information of unemployment insurance recipients.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=8-110","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"a16907f7fdd6732b5c347d919857ec53cd8bf08a3491dbbc1a2d76292014ff20","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-8-109","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-8-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
