Code, Labor and Employment § 8–311","heading":"","body":"(a) On or before January 1 of each year, the Secretary shall submit to the Governor an annual report on the administration and operation of this title during the previous fiscal year.\n(b) The annual report shall include:\n(1) a balance sheet for the Unemployment Insurance Fund;\n(2) a table that shows the amount of any benefit that was ineffectively charged or not charged to the experience rating record of an employer;\n(3) the reason for not charging the amount of any benefit to the experience rating record of an employer;\n(4) by category of disqualification, the amount of any benefit that was paid after a disqualification under Subtitle 10 of this title; and\n(5) any recommendation for an amendment to this title that the Secretary considers proper.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=8-311","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"4cf63c46e23ce22ea47e840bf5fb04454f1c94b1c75b836010d9d51783c3306e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-8-310","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-8-311.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
