Code, Land Use § 1–303","heading":"","body":"Except as provided in § 1–304 of this subtitle, when a provision in a statute listed under § 1–302 of this subtitle requires an action to be “consistent with” or have “consistency with” a comprehensive plan, the term shall mean an action taken that will further, and not be contrary to, the following items in the plan:\n(1) policies;\n(2) timing of the implementation of the plan;\n(3) timing of development;\n(4) timing of rezoning;\n(5) development patterns;\n(6) land uses; and\n(7) densities or intensities.","path":["Article - Land Use"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glu\u0026section=1-303","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:47Z","sha256":"673b27db8e7235fe8923f96460aeb922dfc85eba9d277bc41a548301a67222ef","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-1-302","next":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-1-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
