Code, Land Use § 1–406","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) The planning commission for a charter county shall include in the comprehensive or general plan the visions under § 1–201 of this title and the following elements:\n(i) a development regulations element;\n(ii) a housing element;\n(iii) a sensitive areas element;\n(iv) a transportation element; and\n(v) a water resources element.\n(2) If current geological information is available, the plan shall include a mineral resources element.\n(b) The planning commission for a charter county may include in the plan a priority preservation area element developed in accordance with § 2–518 of the Agriculture Article.","path":["Article - Land Use"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glu\u0026section=1-406","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:47Z","sha256":"4df427cd596cfb5edff26ad16c1cd344f108639838f23233f197fecd776acd4c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-1-405","next":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-1-407"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
