Code, Land Use § 22–210","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies only in Prince George’s County.\n(b) The district council shall require a two–thirds vote of all members of the district council to approve a zoning map amendment if the zoning map amendment is contrary to an approved master plan.\n(c) The district council shall require a two–thirds vote of all members of the district council to approve a zoning map amendment or a special exception if the zoning map amendment or special exception is contrary to the recommendation of a municipal corporation that has any portion of the land subject to the zoning map amendment or special exception in its boundaries.\n(d) The district council shall require a two–thirds vote of all members of the district council and a four–fifths vote of all members of the county planning board to approve an optional parking plan if the optional parking plan is contrary to the recommendation of a municipal corporation that has any portion of the land subject to the optional parking plan in its boundaries.","path":["Article - Land Use"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glu\u0026section=22-210","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:47Z","sha256":"81f6055283eb43be8f6addbeff1f5fa844114a9ebb36df6815d1cffcf45ada5f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-22-209","next":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-22-213"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
