Code, Land Use § 25–506","heading":"","body":"(a) An agreement shall include:\n(1) a description of the real property subject to the agreement;\n(2) the parties involved;\n(3) the specific purposes of the agreement;\n(4) the duration of the agreement;\n(5) a physical description and location of the structures and supporting facilities and features on the real property;\n(6) a description of all anticipated permits required or already approved for the development of the real property;\n(7) provisions for the construction or financing of adequate public facilities for schools;\n(8) a statement that the proposed development is consistent with:\n(i) the Commission’s general plan; and\n(ii) all applicable development laws and regulations; and\n(9) a description of the requirements determined by the county planning board to be necessary to ensure the public health, safety, and welfare.\n(b) An agreement may:\n(1) establish the terms by which and a period of time when development, or individual phases, shall begin and be completed; and\n(2) provide for other matters in accordance with this division.","path":["Article - Land Use"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glu\u0026section=25-506","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:47Z","sha256":"bb9e668f7fe18c8acdc9eff29e6c19ee1e15d857ddb918e6613c6bffb469b0c2","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-25-505","next":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-25-507"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
