Code, Land Use § 4–213","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) In this section, “alcohol production” means an activity that is:\n(i) carried out by a license holder, as defined in § 1–101 of the Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis Article; and\n(ii) related to the manufacture, packaging, storage, promotion, or sale of alcoholic beverages.\n(2) “Alcohol production” includes the use of an area to:\n(i) provide tastings of alcoholic beverages; or\n(ii) accommodate the license holder’s customers.\n(b) A local jurisdiction may adopt the definition of “alcohol production” as defined in this section by local ordinance, resolution, law, or rule.","path":["Article - Land Use"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glu\u0026section=4-213","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:47Z","sha256":"57283f24ed7adb43a0c1cdc24425107e204f6127791fd347302cc461dd9c7890","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-4-212","next":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-4-214"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
