Code, Land Use § 5–202","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies only where a legislative body has:\n(1) adopted the transportation element of the comprehensive plan of all or part of the territory within its subdivision jurisdiction; and\n(2) filed a certified copy of the plan with the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which all or part of the territory is located.\n(b) A plat of a subdivision within the territory or part may not be filed or recorded until:\n(1) the planning commission approves the plat; and\n(2) the chair or secretary of the planning commission indicates an approval in writing on the plat.","path":["Article - Land Use"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glu\u0026section=5-202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:47Z","sha256":"7975ce7259b745c13916fdd94eec61367220f1288a39128a000ca2eb28b09733","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-5-201","next":"us-md/md.-code-land-use-5-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
