Code, Local Government § 1–1429","heading":"","body":"(a) An authority may issue negotiable bond anticipation notes in\nanticipation of the sale of bonds for any corporate purpose.\n(b) Bond anticipation notes issued under this section shall be issued in the\nsame manner as bonds.\n(c) Bond anticipation notes issued under this section and the resolution\nauthorizing them may contain any provision, condition, or limitation that may be\nincluded in a trust agreement.\n(d) An authority may issue bond anticipation notes to pay any other bond\nanticipation notes.\n(e) Bond anticipation notes shall be paid from:\n(1) money available and not otherwise pledged;\n(2) revenues of the authority; or\n(3) the proceeds of the sale of the bonds in anticipation of which the\nnotes were issued.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=1-1429","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"b58618bbf5d194a9a50bf6a6f052a46ce2f1aa7a6678c6b48fa1566ad8bbf7cc","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-1-1428","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-1-1430"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
