Code, Local Government § 12–611","heading":"","body":"(a) If the governing bodies of the adjoining counties approve the findings\nand recommendations of the examiners under § 12–610 of this subtitle to build or\nrepair a bridge, the governing bodies shall direct the examiners to advertise for sealed\nbids on a contract to build or repair the bridge.\n(b) (1) The advertisement shall specify:\n(i) the location of the building or repair of the bridge;\n(ii) the building or repair plan;\n(iii) the materials and workmanship required for the building\nor repair; and\n(iv) the time and place for the opening of the bids.\n(2) The information stated in the advertisement shall include\nsufficient detail to obtain adequate bids.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=12-611","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"bd36f36cdd27203a2a182f4ecdd83a3c83a5a0f65f9878c575bde04fcd18b51c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-12-610","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-12-612"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
