Code, Local Government § 13–408","heading":"","body":"(a) The County Commissioners of Washington County may adopt\nregulations for restricting the growth of nonnoxious weeds on real property in\nWashington County.\n(b) The County Commissioners of Washington County may provide that\nunpaid charges made against real property for the removal of an unauthorized\naccumulation of weeds and debris from the property are a lien on the property until\npaid.\n(c) The County Commissioners of Washington County shall provide\nreasonable notice to the property owner that a lien may be imposed under subsection\n(b) of this section before the removal of weeds or debris from the property.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=13-408","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"163ec30563da25b2e8a62a9da6025e69bc8fb4fddd7a69745aeada250cccb4bb","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-407","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-409"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
