Code, Local Government § 13–701","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies only to:\n(1) Frederick County;\n(2) Garrett County; and\n(3) Washington County.\n(b) The provisions of §§ 9–105 and 9–106 of this article apply to an act, an\nordinance, or a resolution adopted by a commission county under this section.\n(c) The county commissioners may adopt an ordinance or resolution to:\n(1) provide for the licensure of persons engaging in weather\nmodification; and\n(2) require the reporting of any activity performed with the intention\nof producing artificial changes in the composition, behavior, or dynamics of the\natmosphere as defined in the National Weather Modification Policy Act of 1976, 15\nU.S.C. § 330 et seq.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=13-701","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"13f9ab4b7badc317883909fbbd037d0449b4f686c80a029ecafbb77ab64c9b17","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-606","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-702"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
