Code, Local Government § 13–910","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies to all counties except:\n(1) Anne Arundel County;\n(2) Baltimore City;\n(3) Baltimore County;\n(4) Cecil County;\n(5) Charles County;\n(6) Howard County;\n(7) Prince George’s County;\n(8) Queen Anne’s County; and\n(9) Worcester County.\n(b) The provisions of §§ 9–105 and 9–106 of this article apply to an act, an\nordinance, or a resolution adopted by a commission county under this section.\n(c) An electrical code adopted under this section does not apply to:\n(1) electrical equipment or electrical appliances or devices used by\npublic utilities in furnishing their services; or\n(2) work performed by public utilities or their affiliated companies.\n(d) (1) The governing body of a county may:\n(i) adopt an electrical code;\n(ii) provide for inspections to enforce the code; and\n(iii) impose permit and inspection fees.\n(2) An electrical code adopted by the County Commissioners of\nCalvert County shall be adopted by ordinance.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=13-910","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"d58b6f817b4a7520b807bdc4b103df170d91449a1b90edd1b0694e0445ea91ad","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-907","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-911"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
