Code, Local Government § 13–911","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies to all counties, except Baltimore City.\n(b) The provisions of §§ 9–105 and 9–106 of this article apply to an act, an\nordinance, or a resolution adopted by a commission county under this section.\n(c) In accordance with the Maryland Master Electricians Act, the governing\nbody of a county, by ordinance, may:\n(1) provide for the general licensing of electricians;\n(2) license and establish classifications of electricians;\n(3) establish powers and duties of electrical inspectors, including the\nauthority to issue permits and registrations;\n(4) provide for penalties for a violation of an ordinance adopted under\nthis section;\n(5) establish a Board of Electrical Examiners; and\n(6) establish powers and duties of the Board of Electrical Examiners.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=13-911","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"e512c092e7af01a41c6f2bc278aa2fd3e00a85295a5fa7672b36cb9d778038c1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-910","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-13-912"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
