Code, Local Government § 20–607","heading":"","body":"(a) By ordinance, the governing body of Wicomico County may impose a\nuser fee on the charges for all ticketed events held at the Wicomico County Youth and\nCivic Center.\n(b) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the governing body of\nWicomico County shall set the rate of the user fee.\n(2) The rate of the user fee may not exceed 5% of the charge for a\nticket to an event held at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center.\n(c) Any revenue from the user fee authorized under this section shall be\ndedicated to the physical improvement of and renovations to the Wicomico County\nYouth and Civic Center.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=20-607","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"3e7a43c6577a67b309cea7802e2f44bd33d4a1a9c3513c55c00c6ed01978b19a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-20-606","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-20-608"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
