Code, Local Government § 21–627","heading":"","body":"(a) On establishing a stormwater management district, Montgomery\nCounty and Prince George’s County each shall:\n(1) establish a stormwater management fund; and\n(2) deposit in the fund:\n(i) receipts and revenues from an ad valorem tax imposed\nunder § 21–623 of this subtitle; and\n(ii) charges, fees, fees–in–lieu, and other contributions\nreceived from any person or governmental unit in connection with stormwater\nmanagement activities or practices.\n(b) Money in a county stormwater management fund shall be used only to\npay for the costs of stormwater management as set forth in § 21–623(a) of this\nsubtitle.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=21-627","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"f5dfe1619cd7588c99846eced5312434fdb03c7ddf24e33e8a4fa49120633c21","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-21-626","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-21-628"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
