Code, Local Government § 21–803","heading":"","body":"(a) The governing body of Anne Arundel County may:\n(1) establish special taxing districts; and\n(2) impose ad valorem taxes on all real property in a special taxing\ndistrict at a rate sufficient to provide adequate annual revenue to pay the principal\nof and interest on any bonds or other obligations of the county issued to finance the\ndesign, acquisition, establishment, improvement, extension, operation, or alteration\nof public parking facilities or pedestrian malls.\n(b) Ad valorem taxes imposed under this section shall be imposed in the\nsame manner, on the same assessments, for the same period, and as of the same date\nof finality as county real property taxes.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=21-803","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"8521ece924f27a28e825686dae9ddd9675d3e88cd056e97de09288210536efe7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-21-802","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-21-803.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
