Code, Local Government § 22–106","heading":"","body":"(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a Resilience Authority may\nissue and sell bonds periodically:\n(1) for resilience infrastructure projects;\n(2) to refund outstanding bonds;\n(3) to pay the costs of preparing, printing, selling, and issuing the\nbonds;\n(4) to fund reserves; and\n(5) to pay the interest on the bonds in the amount and for the period\nthe Resilience Authority considers reasonable.\n(b) Bonds issued by a Resilience Authority are limited obligations and are\nnot a pledge of the faith and credit or taxing power of an incorporating local\ngovernment.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=22-106","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"9b4db85b6e5ac0227cb3e021f8b3a1564b0763e5754f2416281a9c369e5843ff","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-22-105","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-22-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
