Code, Local Government § 25–404","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) If the board of directors decides to submit the watershed work\nplan to the county commissioners, county council, or Mayor and City Council of\nBaltimore City, the board of directors shall submit three copies of the watershed work\nplan.\n(2) The county commissioners, county council, or Mayor and City\nCouncil of Baltimore City shall forward a copy of the watershed work plan to the\nState Soil Conservation Committee in the Department of Agriculture.\n(b) The board of directors shall include with the submission of the\nwatershed work plan a statement that the board of directors has determined that the\nwatershed project:\n(1) is feasible;\n(2) will benefit the public and promote public health, safety, and\nwelfare; and\n(3) will produce sufficient benefits to warrant the expenditure.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=25-404","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"770dea874531f5d7875393253d7df1e5f769cf566cc5aa03037d1336d21cc2b8","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-25-403","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-25-405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
