Code, Local Government § 25–807","heading":"","body":"(a) If the land affected by the watershed association that is subject to\nassessment is located in two or more counties, the board of directors shall prepare a\nseparate assessment list for each county.\n(b) The board of directors shall send the assessment lists for each county to\nthe designated officer for the county in which the watershed association was\norganized.\n(c) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, the\nprocedure for imposing special assessments under this section shall be as provided\nfor in § 25–803 of this subtitle.\n(2) The county commissioners, county council, or Mayor and City\nCouncil of Baltimore City in which the watershed association was organized shall\ncertify the assessment lists for the other counties to the appropriate governing body.\n(3) The county commissioners, county council, or Mayor and City\nCouncil of Baltimore City shall then certify the assessment lists to the respective\ncounty tax collectors for action as provided for in § 25–803 of this subtitle.\n(d) All money collected in the several counties as provided under this\nsection shall be paid over to the county tax collector of the county in which the\nwatershed association was organized and credited to the watershed association.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=25-807","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"f8c8fa5eb43ed63fdcf11a83cb14614451c98f2cad1ab603d1ee386f86de997f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-25-806","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-25-808"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
