Code, Local Government § 26–404","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) If the board of managers decides to submit the plan to the county\ncommissioners or county council, the board of managers shall submit three copies of\nthe plan.\n(2) The county commissioners or county council shall forward a copy\nof the plan to the State Soil Conservation Committee in the Department of\nAgriculture.\n(b) The board of managers shall include with the submission of the plan a\nstatement that the board of managers has determined that the drainage project:\n(1) is feasible;\n(2) will benefit the public and promote public health, safety, and\nwelfare; and\n(3) will produce sufficient benefits to warrant the expenditure.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=26-404","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"870e6a5aa1f66959c78d4105996f8c4574eac0525929b50617ec9274ee7fa04b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-26-403","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-26-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
