Code, Local Government § 27–405","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) The designated officer shall maintain a drainage record in which\nthe designated officer shall record each petition, motion, order, report, judgment, and\nfinding of the county commissioners or county council in each drainage transaction\nthat comes before the county commissioners or county council as to make a complete\nand continuous record.\n(2) Copies of all maps and profiles shall be:\n(i) furnished by the engineer;\n(ii) marked “official copies” by the designated officer;\n(iii) kept on file in the designated officer’s office; and\n(iv) open to public inspection.\n(b) (1) The board of drainage commissioners shall submit to the clerk of\nthe appropriate circuit court an easement record listing each easement for\nmaintenance and rights–of–way that the drainage district has on any land in the\ncounty.\n(2) The clerk shall make the easement record available for public\ninspection.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=27-405","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"c619b266c0df1e79516658ffc7a816c57b74512a77cdda3d976f0bfe2f615f1c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-27-404","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-27-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
