Code, Local Government § 31–106","heading":"","body":"(a) The Baltimore City Youth Data Hub and manager may use only\naggregated, de–identified data for conducting any analysis, research, and reporting\nto the executive committee, the public, or otherwise.\n(b) Direct access to personally identifiable information in the Baltimore\nCity Youth Data Hub shall be restricted to the manager and the manager’s\nauthorized staff or contractors only for authorized purposes and lawful quality\ncontrol.\n(c) On the receipt of data, the manager or its designated technology vendor\nshall work with providers to promptly extract and upload the data into the Baltimore\nCity Youth Data Hub’s data management system for aggregation and de–\nidentification.\n(d) Immediately after aggregating personally identifiable information in\nthe data management system, the manager shall destroy any copies of the personally\nidentifiable information existing outside the data management system in a manner\nsuch that, after aggregation, the manager does not possess or retain any personally\nidentifiable information outside the data management system.\n(e) The Baltimore City Youth Data Hub may not use its data management\nsystem for queries to produce any personally identifiable information or reports that\ncontain any personally identifiable information.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=31-106","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"5e7d007dbe59499e185f86de77f459edd9dcc0f2b42692791bafddf24c72b998","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-31-105","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-31-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
