Code, Local Government § 31–109","heading":"","body":"(a) A person, whether acting on behalf of the manager or a provider, who\nobtains, discloses, or uses, or attempts to obtain, disclose, or use identifiable data for\na purpose other than aggregation in the Baltimore City Youth Data Hub is guilty of\na misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or\na fine not exceeding $1,000 or both.\n(b) A person, whether acting on behalf of the manager or a provider, is\ncivilly liable to an individual for actual damages, including attorney’s fees and\nlitigation costs, that the court considers appropriate if the court finds by clear and\nconvincing evidence that the person committed a violation of any provision of this\ntitle that caused any damage to the individual.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=31-109","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"1cd73a426aebd87b9ee778eb7481171cccf7f0d0dae9759067cea2fb143b3f48","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-31-108","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-31-110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
