Code, Local Government § 4–108.5","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “State Board” means the State Board of Elections.\n(b) (1) The State Board shall, immediately after a municipality submits\nits election results, publish the election results on the State Board’s website.\n(2) The election results published under paragraph (1) of this\nsubsection shall be organized by election year and the name of the municipality.\n(c) Within 30 days after the results of a municipal election are certified, the\nmunicipality shall submit to the State Board an electronic copy of the election results\nfor each office or question voted on at the election, including:\n(1) vote totals for each office or question reported separately by each\nof the following voting methods, if applicable:\n(i) in–person early voting;\n(ii) mail–in voting or vote–by–mail;\n(iii) provisional voting; and\n(iv) in–person election day voting; and\n(2) if the municipality conducts partisan elections, the party\naffiliation of each candidate.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=4-108.5","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"8a0cd2e077bc5298fd27f2f8810440ff0a136d9396386346d57c2ddf385ccde9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-4-108.4","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-4-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
