Code, Local Government § 5–105","heading":"","body":"(a) The legislative body of a municipality may adopt an ordinance\nregulating the licensing, location, and operation in the municipality of a business\nestablishment that allows on its premises any activity involving nudity and sexual\ndisplays listed under § 4–605 of the Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis Article.\n(b) (1) A person who violates an ordinance adopted under subsection (a)\nof this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment\nnot exceeding 6 months or a fine of not less than $500 or both.\n(2) Each day that a violation continues is a separate offense.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=5-105","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"2240c78fbf4f0fc6aa73c04ab7bd53596f3751666e3c64b4926e74e3bf9c00e9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-5-104","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-5-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
