Code, Local Government § 9–103","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “ordinance”:\n(1) means a legislative enactment of general application and\ncontinuing force for Baltimore City; and\n(2) does not include a public local law under § 9–102 of this subtitle.\n(b) Each year, if Baltimore City enacts any ordinance appropriate for\ncodification during the year, the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City shall\nprovide for the preparation and distribution of a supplement to or new edition of its\ncode of ordinances.\n(c) (1) A supplement published under subsection (b) of this section shall\ncontain each ordinance that is in effect and has been enacted or amended since\nBaltimore City’s most recent code of ordinances was published.\n(2) A new code published under subsection (b) of this section shall\ncontain each ordinance that is in effect at the time of publication.","path":["Article - Local Government"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=glg\u0026section=9-103","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:58Z","sha256":"115b882595845916711408657f72a13f6bd7ab3ec3a3e4e92576de4757cf9bdc","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-9-102","next":"us-md/md.-code-local-government-9-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
