Code, Natural Resources § 10–426","heading":"","body":"(a) A person may not shoot at or kill a bird or animal in the State with a gun or other device operated or accessed via an Internet connection.\n(b) Accessing, regulating access to, or regulating the control of a gun or device capable of being operated in violation of this section shall be prima facie evidence of the commission of an offense under this section.\n(c) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or both.\n(d) The hunting privilege or hunting license of a person convicted of violating this section shall be revoked, and the person shall be denied the privilege of hunting in the State for at least 2 years and not more than 5 years.","path":["Article - Natural Resources"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gnr\u0026section=10-426","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:08Z","sha256":"fb6afb4642dd7d4a099fff3898ac914a7ce6822710cb00a1ff7a930b7173758f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-10-425","next":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-10-427"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
