Code, Natural Resources § 3–216","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Land Preservation Rapid Response Advisory Committee.\n(b) The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to:\n(1) Review and prioritize Program loan applications for consideration by the Board of Trustees; and\n(2) Make recommendations to the Board of Trustees on:\n(i) Which projects to fund, whether in whole or in part; and\n(ii) The funding to be allocated to each project.\n(c) The Advisory Committee consists of:\n(1) A representative of the Department, selected by the Secretary; and\n(2) The following members, selected by the Board of Trustees:\n(i) A representative of the Trust that is not a member of the Executive Committee;\n(ii) A representative of a nonprofit land conservation organization in the State;\n(iii) A representative of a local parks and recreation department in the State; and\n(iv) An individual with experience in loan underwriting.","path":["Article - Natural Resources"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gnr\u0026section=3-216","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:08Z","sha256":"9eefe0bc0c22237944444dc1ac9f7b703fc9724341617d3b9fca7308afc79ca3","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-3-215","next":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-3-217"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
