Code, Natural Resources § 3–2A–01","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Department” means the Department of Natural Resources.\n(c) “Grant Fund” means the Land Trust Grant Fund established under § 3-2A-02 of this subtitle.\n(d) “Land trust” means a qualified conservation organization that:\n(1) Is a qualified organization under § 170(h)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and regulations adopted under § 170(h)(3); and\n(2) Has executed a cooperative agreement with the Maryland Environmental Trust.\n(e) “Trust” means the Maryland Environmental Trust.","path":["Article - Natural Resources"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gnr\u0026section=3-2A-01","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:08Z","sha256":"7a9368f4b9259e3320714839b63a478492919fdf0aa12257ca07826bc6485e09","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-3-217","next":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-3-2a-02"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
