Code, Natural Resources § 4–1208","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “violation” means a violation of:\n(1) Any provision of this title; and\n(2) Any rule or regulation concerning fish and fisheries adopted by the Department.\n(b) If a person applies for the expungement of the person’s record concerning any violation, the Department shall expunge the record if, at the time of application:\n(1) The person has not been convicted of a violation for the preceding 3 years, and any license issued to the person under this title has never been suspended or revoked;\n(2) The person has not been convicted of a violation for the preceding 5 years, and any license issued to the person under this title shows not more than 1 suspension and no revocations; or\n(3) The person has not been convicted of a violation for the preceding 10 years, regardless of the number of suspensions or revocations.","path":["Article - Natural Resources"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gnr\u0026section=4-1208","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:08Z","sha256":"8feb487372c1695216144fbaef00616133a09ddc189fb9350fbba20918a60521","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-4-1207","next":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-4-1209"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
