Code, Natural Resources § 8–1907","heading":"","body":"(a) In developing the criteria for citizen involvement projects or corporate sponsorship projects, the Trust may consider activities that:\n(1) Preserve water quality and habitat;\n(2) Restore aquatic and land resources;\n(3) Publish or produce educational materials on the Chesapeake Bay and other aquatic and land resources of the State;\n(4) Provide educational scholarships or training; or\n(5) Promote conservation programs for the Chesapeake Bay and other aquatic and land resources of the State through the media or other means.\n(b) The Trust may not consider activities which advocate a political candidate or political solution.","path":["Article - Natural Resources"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gnr\u0026section=8-1907","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:08Z","sha256":"7f5d1d1d2c3b8bd8cb3121663372f457d5ad05ea49adc8162191032e9017791f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-8-1906","next":"us-md/md.-code-natural-resources-8-1908"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
