Code, Public Safety § 10–202","heading":"","body":"(a) As necessary or advisable to protect the safety of employees of a fireworks plant and the public and to protect public property, the State Fire Prevention Commission shall:\n(1) adopt regulations consistent with this subtitle; and\n(2) enforce the regulations through the office of the State Fire Marshal.\n(b) The scope of the regulations adopted under this section may include:\n(1) the implementation of this subtitle; and\n(2) requirements relating to:\n(i) the location, construction, arrangement, and operation of a fireworks plant;\n(ii) personnel;\n(iii) public liability and workers’ compensation insurance; and\n(iv) fireworks plant safety.","path":["Article - Public Safety"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gps\u0026section=10-202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:18Z","sha256":"e0b3626358c750cbfb6e1c3f69f4ccefbbea078e2fb4dfba64ddd6c1ec3ba0d3","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-10-201","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-10-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
