Code, Public Safety § 13A–1006","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a person subject to this title who solicits or advises another to commit an offense under this title shall be punished as a court–martial may direct.\n(b) A person subject to this title who solicits or advises another to violate § 13A–1009 or § 13A–1021 of this subtitle:\n(1) if the offense solicited or advised is attempted or is committed, shall be punished with the punishment provided for the commission of the offense; and\n(2) if the offense solicited or advised is not attempted or committed, shall be punished as a court–martial may direct.","path":["Article - Public Safety"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gps\u0026section=13A-1006","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:18Z","sha256":"da80e7bda17f4974644d73b72a20045e6eeb2be58f7e13751aad9f844059a283","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-13a-1005","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-13a-1007"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
