Code, Public Safety § 13A–1104","heading":"","body":"(a) A member of the State military forces who believes the member to have been wronged by a commanding officer, and who, on due application to that commanding officer, is refused redress, may complain to a superior commissioned officer, who shall forward the complaint to the officer exercising general court–martial jurisdiction over the officer against whom it is made.\n(b) The officer exercising general court–martial jurisdiction shall:\n(1) examine into the complaint and take proper measures for redressing the wrong complained of; and\n(2) as soon as possible, send to the Adjutant General a true statement of that complaint, with the proceedings had thereon.","path":["Article - Public Safety"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gps\u0026section=13A-1104","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:18Z","sha256":"c448e5c9d49a0a52e6cffecbe61fb894ec0a3f945bfc79b97c04e1381197d10f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-13a-1103","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-13a-1105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
