Code, Public Safety § 5–111","heading":"","body":"(a) Unless a dealer’s license is renewed for a 1-year term as provided in this section, a dealer’s license expires on the first June 30 after its effective date.\n(b) (1) Before a dealer’s license expires, the licensee periodically may renew it for an additional 1-year term, if the licensee:\n(i) is otherwise entitled to be licensed;\n(ii) pays to the Secretary a renewal fee of $25, payable to the Comptroller; and\n(iii) submits to the Secretary a renewal application on the form that the Secretary provides.\n(2) A refund or proration of the renewal fee is prohibited.","path":["Article - Public Safety"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gps\u0026section=5-111","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:18Z","sha256":"78a9f7a1684c692df8bea5a26b526c6d3a77c56073feb8fba5f9eda5eeb57d5e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-5-110","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-5-112"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
