Code, Public Safety § 7–204","heading":"","body":"(a) The Governor shall include in the State budget each year at least $55,000:\n(1) for the purposes set forth in §§ 7-202 and 7-203 of this subtitle; and\n(2) for scholarships for children of members of volunteer fire companies or volunteer rescue squads who are killed or disabled in the line of duty, as provided in § 18-602 of the Education Article.\n(b) The Board:\n(1) shall administer the money provided under subsection (a) of this section; and\n(2) may not use it for administrative costs.","path":["Article - Public Safety"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gps\u0026section=7-204","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:18Z","sha256":"e6d29706ab64ad1141ca668464a2d2b73c1817bfc6e212197bea944715b1533d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-7-203","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-safety-7-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
