Code, Public Utilities § 10–106","heading":"","body":"(a) The term of a for-hire driver’s license is not less than 1 year and not more than 3 years, as the Commission sets.\n(b) (1) An applicant for a renewal of a for-hire driver’s license shall submit to the Commission an application on the form that the Commission provides.\n(2) The Commission may renew the for-hire driver’s license by appropriate endorsement on the license.\n(c) The Commission shall keep on file with the original application of a driver a complete record of:\n(1) each for-hire driver’s license issued to the driver; and\n(2) any renewal, suspension, and revocation of a for-hire driver’s license issued to the driver.","path":["Article - Public Utilities"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gpu\u0026section=10-106","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:28Z","sha256":"1325d86718f59b03d094fc76d5568914f765ca0ee05c0376dd8f4ff9737ef547","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-10-105","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-10-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
