Code, Public Utilities § 12–110","heading":"","body":"(a) The Authority may:\n(1) adopt bylaws for the conduct of its business;\n(2) adopt a seal;\n(3) maintain an office at a place it designates;\n(4) maintain facilities for the purpose of holding hearings under this subtitle;\n(5) employ a staff;\n(6) accept a grant, a loan, or any other assistance in any form from any public or private source, subject to the provisions of this subtitle;\n(7) enter into contracts and execute the instruments necessary or convenient to carry out this subtitle to accomplish its purposes; and\n(8) do all things necessary or convenient to carry out the powers expressly granted by this subtitle.\n(b) The Authority shall adopt a code of conduct for its members.","path":["Article - Public Utilities"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gpu\u0026section=12-110","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:28Z","sha256":"3e9f850b859be53e36ee8257887ade10affe6e3a067c3bb14aa769c70ca1383c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-12-109","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-12-111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
