Code, Public Utilities § 20–101","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Design/build contract” means a contract that provides for both architectural and engineering design services and construction services as a part of a single contract.\n(c) “Evaluated bid price” means the price of a bid after adjustment in accordance with objective measurable criteria.\n(d) “Facilities construction contract” means a contract that provides services for the construction of:\n(1) a water or wastewater treatment plant;\n(2) a water or wastewater pumping station and related force mains in the pumping station site limits;\n(3) a water storage facility;\n(4) a wastewater storage facility;\n(5) a building for Commission purposes; or\n(6) a pipeline.\n(e) “Objective measurable criteria” means standards that enable the Commission to compare the economy, effectiveness, or value of the subject of the bids.","path":["Article - Public Utilities"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gpu\u0026section=20-101","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:28Z","sha256":"5a916d255793ef5e9cb773b4d438c2a054e692a914c20d1c9297582b12f2d71e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-19-108","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-20-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
