Code, Public Utilities § 22–109","heading":"","body":"To ensure the prompt payment of interest and provision for the payment of the principal on bonds issued under this subtitle:\n(1) the prompt and proper performance of the acts required under §§ 22–106 and 22–108 of this subtitle is specially enjoined; and\n(2) a person who is required to act under §§ 22–106 and 22–108 of this subtitle:\n(i) shall perform the acts required under those sections;\n(ii) shall pay over any funds as required under those sections; and\n(iii) may not use any part of the funds for any other purpose than for the payment of principal and interest on the bonds.","path":["Article - Public Utilities"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gpu\u0026section=22-109","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:28Z","sha256":"b05821a383ed746d4946b9a324882f999dd163f11a41a13d23f33689a86b6de1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-22-108","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-22-110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
