Code, Public Utilities § 24–101","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A person shall obtain a permit from the Commission before the person may engage in plumbing, waterworks, or sewer construction in a building or on private property in the sanitary district or areas of Prince George’s County that are not in the sanitary district.\n(2) The person shall pay to the Commission a reasonable permit fee set by the Commission.\n(b) Work performed under a permit authorized by this section shall:\n(1) conform to the Commission’s regulations; and\n(2) be subject to any inspection that the Commission considers necessary.","path":["Article - Public Utilities"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gpu\u0026section=24-101","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:28Z","sha256":"4f04ef392e5dd8137ec95553af08717fc4c99025357f038fd7265244675c527c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-23-316","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-24-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
