Code, Public Utilities § 7–215","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies to a solar electric generating facility located in the State that:\n(1) has the capacity to produce more than 2 megawatts of electricity; and\n(2) is designed to produce electricity for sale on the wholesale market.\n(b) (1) Not later than 30 days after selling or otherwise transferring ownership of a solar electric generating facility the owner of the facility shall provide notice of the sale or transfer to:\n(i) the county in which the facility is located; and\n(ii) the Commission.\n(2) The notice under this section shall include the name, address, phone number, and e–mail address of the new owner.","path":["Article - Public Utilities"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gpu\u0026section=7-215","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:28Z","sha256":"8f4e3fa64d14c40bc9d8938da4ab35163ac22bd5ea16e80a898e64f83123f127","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-7-214","next":"us-md/md.-code-public-utilities-7-216"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
