Code, Real Property § 7–501","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Financial Regulation in the Maryland Department of Labor.\n(c) “Dwelling” has the meaning stated in 12 C.F.R. § 1015.2 and any subsequent revision of that regulation.\n(d) “Mortgage assistance relief service” has the meaning stated in 12 C.F.R. § 1015.2 and any subsequent revision of that regulation.\n(e) (1) “Mortgage assistance relief service provider” has the meaning stated in 12 C.F.R. § 1015.2 and any subsequent revision of that regulation.\n(2) “Mortgage assistance relief service provider” incorporates the meanings of other terms stated in 12 C.F.R. § 1015.2 to the extent those terms are used to establish the meaning of “mortgage assistance relief service provider”.","path":["Article - Real Property"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=grp\u0026section=7-501","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:38Z","sha256":"f10913e88744fe019bb1621a32ba0c60c3d9a2d8b69051f1f39aa0b42c16d6aa","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-real-property-7-409","next":"us-md/md.-code-real-property-7-502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
