Code, Real Property § 8–1004","heading":"","body":"(a) The District Court may allow at least one representative from a designated organization to operate in a District Court courthouse on days on which cases filed for a failure to pay rent under § 8–401 of this title are heard.\n(b) The operation of a designated organization in a District Court courthouse shall be governed by a memorandum of understanding signed by a representative of the designated organization and the administrative judge for the applicable District Court.\n(c) Nothing in this subtitle may be construed to require the District Court to allow a representative from a designated organization to operate within a courtroom.","path":["Article - Real Property"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=grp\u0026section=8-1004","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T20:00:38Z","sha256":"4bc32ce363484f3567b5cf4860a33b82cf371dfce99006fab34fece2458dd038","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-real-property-8-1003","next":"us-md/md.-code-real-property-8-1005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
